I bought a Dyson Animal 2 last year and while the dyson is superior in suction power the Shark was more reliable for my house hold. Im still waiting to have my dyson serviced. Had it for less than 1 year and the wand is already broken, as in it has very weak suction power and the ball over heats when I use wand.

Ive had my shark for about 5 years and it still runs. The handle is broken but the thing still works. Not as strong as the dyson vacuuming my carpet floors but if I need to use a wand or handle to vacuum hard to reach places the shark wins.

Returned the ball animal it was ridiculously hard to move on carpet great on hardwood but I couldn't even push or pull it.
