Amazon reviews claim sound is tinny, hollow, and not comparable to similarly priced models from Bose and Sonos. I'll pass…..paying for the name and inferior sound

Paying for build quality and ruggedness (anodized aluminum shell,waterproof,dustproof) and portability with decent sound. Made for outdoors/backpacking etc. Not plastic junk like most devices at this price.
