It would seem as if the 10TB, 12TB, and 14TB options get you to $12 or less per TB. Of course, it would be useful to know about the drives you might be retrieving out of these units as well as the recorded amount of activity associated with WD's refurbished products.

These prices aren't all that great, especially considering they're refurbs. New prices were cheaper than these during black friday/christmas sales.

p.s. I just watched the amazon videos on this drive, and it said if you use it for archive purposes to plug it in a couple of times a year to lubricate the parts. I didn't know that. So I will take my 5 TB's WD /SG drives out of the closet and plug them in for a few minutes. Hopefully this info is good for you too. Smilie
I had the same type of drives but in 2tb and they slowly died on me in a few years. I would plug it in every month or 2 to tranfer some large files. I upgraded to the 5tb game drive 3 years ago and haven't had any issues yet, but I'm wearing of buying refurbished drives. I've had wd drives slowly die and some of the files were not possible to be retrieved.
