It can be transformed into a 5.1 system by adding Samsung's SWA-9500S wireless rear speakers.

A quick deal search shows this regularly goes on sale for 300 and down to 279 before so this is 20 off.. Not sure how great of a deal it is

Any recommendations for 9500S speaker stand?
Picked up these from Amazon:

USX MOUNT Universal Speaker... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09BZ6G...b_ap_share

They can hold the weight of the speakers and also come with spikes to make them stay into carpet. Other speakers on Amazon didn't include these. One complaint is that the wires don't fit through the poles so they have to be velcro strapped (included) or zip tied to the poles.

Also, I've had the 9500s for about a week and for me it's a game changer in terms of surround sound. I'm sure that I could have found a perfect distance to sit from the sound bar to get the atmos speakers to work a little bit better but I didn't want to change our seating distance at all.

748 on Amazon so not 1000 but a huge discount. If it's the same model.

no it's real and most sounds bars that support Dolby atmos aren't cheap. Most.

I bought this and received and also received Q900C which I bought from Samsung for $504 ($350 total after a $158 discount) … now debating which one will be better in my living room with 2023 75" frame tv. I also bought 9500S from best buy for $97. Any advice
how did you get that $158 discount? q900c would obviously be better

I have an old TV without ARC. If I want atmos sound with the existing TV, I'm assuming using an HDMI source (e.g. firestick) that supports Dolby atmos with a sound bar that has HDMI passthru is my easiest solution. Since this doesn't have an HDMI passthru, I don't see a way... am I missing any options? This looks like a great deal otherwise.

I got this sound bar and I have an OLED s90c. I connected both and wanted to select the passthrough for the dolby atmos. Unfortunately it was greyed out. I'm new here and asking for input. Is this normal?
May or may not help. I found this info from a rtings review for your TV.

"The Samsung S90C supports both ARC and eARC, allowing it to pass high-quality audio from a connected source through to a connected soundbar or home theater receiver. To use it, you must set the HDMI eARC Mode to 'Auto', and Digital Output Audio Format to 'Pass-Through"

So check that HDMI eARC setting.

I have this same TV, When I plugged it in a popup came up that said
q-symphony started or something like that But everything on the EQ settings is grayed out except the base. This soundbar sounds great until I mount it then the up firing speakers shoot behind the TV and the sound quality goes way down. I like the slim design but am thinking maybe getting like the Q800 as the up firing speakers would NOT shoot behind the TV.

I'm afraid people aren't understanding that this soundbar isn't for the best sound…it's for matching the FrameTV in size

It's all relative. It will sound better than your tv speakers, and it won't sound better than a sound bar that is double the price and the size.
If we are talking about a NEW setup, I don't believe the q800b has dropped below $350 and that was with a EDU discount.

As much as I'd love to have a sonos arc, those are usually $700. So I'm going to have $250 expectations

No optical poses problems when you've run out of HDMI inputs on tv

Dolby Atmos doesn't work through optical though. I agree that it would be nice to have but it would be pointless for this specific model.

It would be nice for music though, but the wife has an iPhone so we can use air play
