I don't know why people are complaining about a cheap entry level disposable laptop like this as if the 7520u is worse than a celeron. To put this cpu into perspective, it's Passmark score is just under 10,000, for context, if anyone remembered the 4790k, similar performance. This is a bottom of the barrel cpu with DDR5 and RDNA GPU

Intels version of this is a dual core cpu with a Passmark of maybe half the power of this and zero ability to play any kind of game. Please remember this is the entry level cpu so don't compare this to a 6 core 12 thread ryzen 5

This is actually quite amazing of a cpu for entry level and this blows the doors off of what you used to get at the low end

Decent specs for basic tasks given the price, though R5-7520U and R3-7320U are basically rebranding of older Zen 2 architecture.
Both come with LPDDR5 8GB, which means not upgradable.

Just FYI even though it's zen 2, it's not based on a zen2 cpu. Its actually a 6nm process with DDR5 memory and a Radeon 610M GPU.

Just FYI it's 6nm not to be confused with zen2 from 4 years ago. It uses DDr5 and has a Radeon 610m. It's not a bottom barrel processor like you make it out to be. This is superior to any base model celeron or pentium processor that Intel ships out. Please stop sharing miss information lol

So long as it's 6c/12t, it'll do almost everything really well. But I've got a desktop for heavy lifting. This really is just for my dad because he broke his 3 year old $300 Ryzen 5 4600H laptop. He needs a replacement that isn't worse or more expensive. This is one of a few to fit the bill.

I bought the Ryzen 5 16GB back when it was posted in early dec '23. It's been a good computer. The squaretrade warranty activates automatically and ebay sends you the info after purchase; I hope to not have to use it.

7320u and 7520u are based on Zen 2. Zen 4 is out. Tricky naming to make people think that they're getting the new new...

Those CPUs are exactly the same as well. Ryzen 5 has 200mhz higher boost and that's it. Same igpu as well.

Don't expect gaming performance on this like the Ryzens of yore.

Doesn't even have Vega gfx... 610m is weak sauce.

This is a mediocre deal at best IMO. The Dell Inspiron 15 with 12th gen i3 or Ryzen 5 5500U have been going for around same price and they are brand new with upgradeable RAM.

i noticed my mac mini and my two ipad pro isn't listing all my photos from my pixel 7 when i connect to them, but when i connect my pixel to old laptop, it shows all my photos. the problem is that my old laptop blue screens when it pleases, thus im in need for a laptop. i don't know why the mac doesn't show all my photos so i can import them. this is why im in need for a cheap laptop to unload my pics and use it for surfing too. i guess i should consider this laptop. no need for anything fancy.

Got this a month ago for $20 more on eBay (though it came with 16gb ram instead). Played Diablo immortal and guild wars 2 just fine. Touchscreen and does type C charging.
