No, deals like this one aren't hackable. Use the the battery deal linked above to get just the trimmer for $92.
Can anyone here comment on the trimmer? Is it a worthwhile purchase for general grass lawn trimming?
I have one of the 40V ryobi blowers from a previous slick deal and have been very happy with it. DTO runs deals all the time for kits with a battery. Sucks to have a different battery system but I prefer the 40v for outdoor stuff.
Probabably going to buy the string trimmer/battery deal and get rid of my dewalt trimmer (also a slick deal - curse you slickdeals) to get back to two battery systems.
