I am confused, says "just peel and stick", yet has holes for screws, and I understand the screws are not included..

i'm sure we all have a junk drawer of shorties that will fit to reinforce if needed; what i'm confused about is where the original $15 comes from. looks like this is this price normally.

Not confusing at all. Holes for screws are optional. I am sure you can find some screws in your garage

This is almost always $10 (see CCC). The seller has been switching this back and forth between $15 and $10 nonstop since July.

I was going to get Temu magnets but they are not cheap either. I just want a set so I can install them on my fence gate so when I am doing some work I can hold the door open but does anyone know of these are strong enough for that purpose. I don't have any spring to pull the door back and I would use 2 for each door, and I plan to spray paint the metal part to avoid corrosion and to match the door. Any suggestions?

Yeah i love it when sellers do that. If it's not an immediate need, i put these items on my wish list and make notes for price fluctuations, when i see that the price is at it's lowest or close to it and i need the item i will buy it. CCC is not always accurate due to codes, flash sale, but nice back up to reference as well.

these magnets are pretty strong; i found some i had to use a screw, others dont.. idk why.. i just use them on door corners
