scroll wheel breaks easily, made of very very cheap plastic. i RMA'd one the other month and trying to sell it on ebay
My scroll wheel came broke and they want me to pay to ship it back lol no thx
I have the wireless X20 version and I don't recommend it. It's the same as this, just wireless.

I had to send it in for RMA twice and both times, I had to pay shipping.

1st time the scroll wheel broke. This was after 6 months. The replacement that EVGA sent only worked wired or Bluetooth. 2.4ghz didn't work and I had to pay to send it back to them again.

Stick with their power supplies. I've no idea why they decided to try making keyboards and mice.

Another crappy mouse. And I just went through two Logitiech mice that had the crappy double click issue. I used to love all things Logitech, now I won't buy any of their products.

Is there a decent wired mouse out there for gaming that actually works and stays reliable for over one year? Is this something that's too difficult for engineers to design?
I think what some are doing is replacing the switches with better ones, like Japanese made versions of the Morons. I think they're usually considered to be better than the Chinese made ones.

Can you get a mouse with Japanese versions in it straight from the factory? I dunno. Seems ridiculous if you can't, but I'm expecting that's the case.

I bought wireless one just 2 weeks ago for about the same price. it is terrible. i hate that led light that is no way to turn it off, unless you install their stupid software. the battery can only last for like 4 days. with usb connection, it is ok, but i connected it to 2 devices with 1 using bluetooth, which is lagging so bad and constantly drop. that right click is designed so bad that I always clicked the right click accidentally which annoys me. i have no choice but will return and get logitech one.

4 days is about average for a budget gaming mouse. Spend more or reduce the polling rate. Bluetooth is dependent on the receiver/broadcast signal, desktop ones are generally not that great if there are a lot of other wireless devices nearby. Laptops shouldn't have an issue since it is much closer to the device.

I'm not sure about this. I have another logitech mouse can last 1-2 months per charge. I use bluetooth to connect to my m2 mac mini. it had no issue with airpods, magic keyboard and apple magic mouse. I hate magic mouse, that why I hoped this gaming mouse can replace apple mouse. everything else is working fine with bluetooth except this stupid mouse. even apple magic mouse can last 2 months per charge.

I wouldn't trust EVGA Mice or Keyboards. I've had both, both are terrible quality. Random disconnects on the keyboard, mouse scroll wheel breaks easy - cheap plastic..

Not to mention EVGA is going out of business soon - or only going to be focusing on PowerSupplies.

Similar experience with this cheap mouse.
Mine (wired) would randomly disconnect and reconnect. Very disruptive mid game. Yes I tested it in other ports and on other computers.
It was in warranty but was so expensive to ship back I told them forget it, I'll never buy EVGA peripherals again.

Agreed. It's a great mouse, but the scroll wheel has only lasted me 6 months or so, twice. Frown

EVGA gaming peripherals are not that great. Same with the software too. The company is on the decline big time. $700 motherboard Z790 and EVGA can't be bothered to add support for Intel 14th gen CPU like other mfg have already added for Z790 motherboards. Within 2-3 years (if not sooner) i bet we see EVGA going out of business. Only products they have left is low end gaming peripherals and low end power supplies.

I've owned this mouse for over a year and it works perfectly. I think these issues are the minority.

This wired version has been my daily driver for about a year and a half and it works fine. I really like it because it's a bit larger and fits my hand well. I'm a cg artist so I'm using this thing like 16 hours a day and have had no issues at all. Just wanted to say that as there are so many negative comments for some reason. I'm sure the vast majority of these mice are perfectly fine and for $18, that is a steal.

The mouse wheel issue is not in the minority lol why do you think it's priced constantly at $18 when it was like originally 75

I bought this a while back just to have as a spare regular mouse. Stopped working. Got a second replacement one. Has connection issues. Never again.
