Always test card ASAP with H2testw

It will write to full capacity and read to verify the data, if the test fails then the card is a fake. Then return card before return window ends.

I would not buy that from Amazon, I just returned one I received from the last deal that was counterfeit.

I hope we can see SSD tech show up in this form factor. Because flash always has inconsistent and slow write speeds.

I too have been burned by counterfeit cards from Amazon. B&H is a much more trustworthy seller. I've purchased over 100 cards from B&H. In fact, a Western Digital rep at a tradeshow recommended purchasing from B&H to avoid problems with counterfeits.

3Cs easily shows the previous price at about $40. Stop posting fake bullsh*t for the "previous price".

I do think $30 is a def a good price for this item, but stop making the deal better than it is. These cards will never see $100+ pricing ever again when the new normal has been $40 for the past 4 months and we are probably seeing $30 become the new normal for this card...

For those in the free state of Florida, Amazon is recognizing the Sales Tax Holiday in effect on this for school supplies...B&H is not. Was going to buy from B&H to avoid the potential for a counterfeit, now maybe not.

+1 to using H2testw for testing for fake cards and testing the integrity of the card. You can download H2testw v1.4 from the original home page https://www.heise.de/download/pro...estw-50539 (it's in German).

They are not SD cards, but newer DSLR and Mirrorless cameras use CFExpress B cards which are based on NVMe interface.

I refuse to buy a lot of shit from Amazon now, even it says Ships From / Sold By Amazon
I don't know how counterfeits make their way into their inventory, are they mixing corporate-purchased product and FBA reseller product (same items) together?

I will gladly take 5-8 mins to PM with Best Buy or elsewhere

Never say never. The world is abandoning use of the dollar and is 32+ trillion in debt. Could be weimar Germany not too long from now... It might cost $1000 US dollars.
