Great price for what look like pretty highly rated peppercorns. However, this has been the regular price on Amazon for just over a year now per CCC. Just sayin'

Get the Costco ones. You can't go wrong and would be able to return them within one year (before expiration date) if you're unhappy …

I ran out (well, what I had was stale), so when I went to look, I found those.. about $3 below anything else. And, yes, I did notice it has been same price, but it doesn't make it not a deal, since nothing else comes without 40% of the price..

Bought these and they are good quality. That being said I bought these like 2 months ago for the same price. Work great and a good price considering whole peppercorns

Guess one could have those thoughts about any/many spices, etc.

Sometimes a nice cracked pepper flavor just hits the spot.

there is/are region(s) (in India) that have named quality.
however, there is probably fraud/lies/old/fake/counterfeit when dealing with the giant amazon.
however times two, the thing about peppers is they keep a long time, (plus a bonus is they dont go stale for a long time too, keeping the "taste")

Bought the Amazon house brand in February. Tellicherry 16 oz for $6.80. Now $9.49.

Checked my history, bought a "slickdeal" 1lb bag of black peppercorn in 2019 for $10 and only finishing it up just now. That bag/brand is currently $12. So this does look like a good price, as long as the product is high quality - the previous one I bought was sold as tellicherry, and is delicious, while this one makes no such claim.

Considering the higher quality 1lb bag lasted me for 5 years it's probably worth spending the bit extra for the quality.
