It's got real navigation keys in their normal alignment? That's tempting...

This has me dancing:
2x USB Type-C (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort 1.4a, HP Sleep and Charge)

I can run 3 monitors when in the office (3rd on HDMI) which I need.

Good CPU & GPU combo as well.... might have to do it.

I'm not overly impressed with the feel of the plastics, but I am used to aluminum framed so maybe its fine? Anyone with experience on this model?

300 nits… for $1200 . Avoid.
One could argue the 7ms is more significant than 300nits, but you're like all the other gamers that like to play outside in full sun, right right

I bought it 2 weeks ago at the same price. So far I tried Counter strike 2, Fort Nite and Diablo 2 Resurrection on it and it runs well on high settings. I think most people complain about the FHD resolution but it looks great especially at 165hz fps and works great on a external monitor. The hard drive and RAM is also pretty low at 500gb and 16gb ddr5 but enough to get by until upgrading. The HP bloatware is also pretty crappy but when I get a new m.2 drive I plan to do a clean Windows install. Considering the processor and the video card it comes with I think it's worth it at this price. I plan to keep mine.

I thot cutting corners on the res would be enough... Yeah, 7ms on a 165hz screen feels bad, man... Otherwise, this is a solid machine for 4 years @ 1080p gaming.

What are the power delivery profiles available to the CPU/GPU? (What's the maximum power available to the GPU?)

Can it do 3440 x 1440p when hooked to an external 34in monitor with at least 144hz?

I am pretty certain it can since the mobile RTX 4070 is capable of driving that resolution at that frame rate. Depending on what you're running, your performance maybe limited since it has 8gb DDR6 VRAM. I currently got it connected to my 4k hdtv and it runs 3840 x 2160 just fine but at only 60fps

Mini 4K TVs can't go past 60 frames per second yet

I said the mobile RTX 4070 is capable of pushing the resolution and frame rate and that I only ran 3840 x 2160 at 60fps on my 4K hdtv. What did you read?

I was trying to look around for cash back, and the specific model number to price out ram and hd upgrades, and noticed it's listed for a hundred cheaper on hp.com. I looked over the ad and it appears to be identical, right?
