Thanks Chief

Good value for someone that doesn't know how or doesn't want to build their own. A 6700 XT (slightly better) would run ~$300 anyway.

one of those somewhat uncommon cases where the prebuild appropriately prioritizes GPU capability

I think it's economics; a good CPU and other goodies are cheaper to build in than a good GPU. And surely the manufacturers are tempted by bulk quantities of legacy GPUs available at bargain prices. As you alluded to, most prebuilts have a disappointing graphics card choice made at the factory, unless they're super high end.

Chip is $120, GPU $300, motherboard $100, case $70, RAM $30, SSD $60.

So yeah everything adds up to around $700.

Plus software. Would a PSU be needed or do cases usually come with PSUs?

Booting it up 10 minutes after the UPS guy leaves? Priceless.

You forgot PSU and operating system license.

Is this prebuilt good for low-mid gaming and future upgrades? Thank you, I appreciate it!

Bought this for the teenage kids back in December at the same price. Plays Fortnite at Max settings 1080p over 120fps. I played Starfield for about 30 hours on it on high+ settings without any complaints (not sure the frame rate exactly, but it was definitely 60+). We bought a 27" curved 1080p 165 hz monitor for it to get all the frames out of it we could. Minecraft with all the mods imaginable still plays at 165fps. We love it.
