I was ordering the 10 cup version for the same price, but got this as a substitution.

Got a set in store. They were located at an endcap and marked at $7.98 but scanning them in the app showed the $4.98 price, which is indeed what they rang at.

I was initially looking for the 10-cup version but it wasn't stocked at my store (and I don't have Walmart+ nor enough to buy for a $35+ basket). I think these will be better for my space/usage (the 10 cup version is probably too big for my needs).

Have these, love them even more than the OXO ones with the button in the center.

Was able to order 2 sets of the 10 cup and 7.5 cup with free same day delivery with W+ for $20 ($5 a set). Hopefully the seals are good and they send all 8 containers.

I don't mean to thread crap but remembered reading a recent news item on nanoplastic seepage from plastic food containers. Hence urging caution….

https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2024/01/0...index.html

TLDR "We can avoid consuming foods and beverages in plastic containers. We can wear clothing made from natural fabrics and buy consumer products made from natural materials," Houlihan said. "We can simply take stock of the plastic in our daily lives and find alternatives whenever feasible."

"BPA-Free Durable Material"

Edit: I agree with thoughts on liquids in plastics…take a unopened bottle of water and place it a strong odor environment for awhile and then pour it in a glass and smell the water because the odor permeates the pores of the plastic.
