Might be an OK deal if you need an i7 (although I'd want an XPS model at this price). But if you just need a solid productivity PC, it is hard to justify an extra $250 over the current i5/16GB/1TB deal from Costco.

Anyone know what optical drive will work with this system? I'm seeing a lot of these recently, but not what ODD will work in this half-height slot. Seems like it's not a laptop-style connector either; rather, it's a full SATA connector according to the teardown manual [dell.com].
