To clarify, the original Neo Geo controller was an arcade stick. The controller this is based on was the gamepad that came with the Neo Geo CD, which came 4 years later (and flopped badly).

reviews seem bad. i'm gonna file this under dont let slickdeals waste my money, even if i tell myself it's only a little Smilie

also the whole idea., a retro controller with a single thumbstick instead of a d-pad, dont think i like it.

Controller is nice and great for emulation. This worked on my RG35xx and Powkiddy X55 with some minor button changes.

Through bluetooth?

The joypad on this and Sega Saturn controller were among the best I have experienced, the joypad on PlayStation and Xbox controller don't even come close

Here is the same one minus the graphics: over 200 reviews, 4.7 stars. No brainer if you just need a spare controller lying around

DON'T FALL FOR THIS NONSENSE.

^ That is a detailed, unbiased review of the pad. Up-left on the d-pad does not trigger unless you really push into the corner hard. 8bitdo controllers are shoddy pieces of crap, but people keep allowing them to get away with it due to their low prices.

No Mai, no buy. It's the SNK way.

Seriously though, this looked pretty sweet but it sounds like the d-pad has issues with properly registering corner inputs and when moving quickly in normal fighting game motions.

I was thinking the same thing since the price has tanked so far down after its release which was not too long ago...
