Dietary cholesterol has little to no affect your blood cholesterol. Most of the cholesterol in your body, is made in your body. Cholesterol is essential for your body to function properly.

My two cents - I think it's pretty good taste and texture wise. It's a much better tasting version of the overly-sweet Dymatize Cocoa Pebbles flavor. The Costco I went to even had a sample station to try it out before buying.

This vs ISOPURE?
Completely different type of product/protein.

ON is generally regarded as top of the line. It mixes better than the Ascent, and tastes much, much better. I bought the Ascent the first time it was on sale. Never again.
ON is considered top of the line by people that don't know any better and believe what other people, also uneducated on the subject, tell them. The ON formula is the same exact formula that they have been peddling for over 10 years. Pretty much every other manufacturer has evolved but Glanbia, the parent company of Optimum Nutrition, is still pushing this stuff out to the masses.

Good deal but (not taste comparison) which is better this or ON whey protein currently on sale at Costco too?
I have use this protein few times when on sale. Very clean and mixes well. Chocolate flavor is good but has a super sweet stevia aftertaste. I add little instant coffee to neutralize it. My personal fav is ON double rich chocolate but for this price Ascent is a great deal.

My local Costco had this. I was hoping for the the Vanilla though which I think tastes better and is a little more dense in protein (I guess the chocolate ends up with a little more flavor filler to make it a little less potent). I picked up some chocolate at my local store but then stocked up on Vanilla on the website which is a little more expensive at $49 (last time I ordered on the website last May it was $45 so it's gone up a bit)

I bought this the last time it was on sale and it tastes horrible to me. I ended up giving it away to someone, who then told me it tastes horrible after they tried it.
Is it because it tastes like actual chocolate and not just sugar?

It tastes extremely artificial to me. Might be the stevia that I dislike but not sure. I generally drink Dymatize iso100 which uses stevia as well but I love the taste. It's all personal taste of course and you may like it, but it's unbearable to me.

Used ON for years and this is superior in every single way. Better taste , better ingredients , minimally processed , lower sodium , lower cholesterol - list goes on and on. Will never go back to ON and this is a great price

Im looking at mine from ON right now. No sucralose, just stevia. Maybe you had an older batch?
