Just a heads up: EcoFlow refurbished units are very hit or miss, and are looking more and more like they're mostly a miss. They rarely ship in like-new condition as promised on their website (https://us.ecoflow.com/pages/refurbished) and the testing is not rigorous. Don't be surprised if it shows up filthy and/or inoperable. It looks like EcoFlow is just re-boxing customer returns and shipping them out to new customers, or is really lax in their QC for refurbished units.

My own personal experience: I bought two Delta Pros in the last big sale that showed up here. One showed up throwing a 303 error code, stuck in 50Hz mode, and unable to pair in Bluetooth. No labels for serial or anything. Both units showed up with dirt/dust/pet hair on the outsides AND behind the port covers. Both had leftover adhesive on the outside from something that was previously stuck on.

So far, EcoFlow customer service is replacing the inoperable one. I'm in a dumb conversation with them now whatching them carve out as much ambiguity as possible from the term "like-new".

I'm mailing back my 4th replacement refurbished Delta 2 that was DOA, when they swore up and down that 'we promise to have your replacement thoroughly inspected and tested before sending out, due to such the inconvenience you've had to go through'…

pshh… let's see if a 5th is the charm. BTW I paid $800 months ago for it before any sales and all I've been doing is reboxing and driving back and forth to FedEx instead of being able to use any.

Be warned, you may get one of my duds just sent back out lol

How do these prices compare to the big sale they had about a month ago? They were on eBay as well. The prices looks similar if I recall

And the river pro can do 1800 W with xboost? That's wild. Granted it's not going to last very long. I saw a cool YouTube video about how to extend the capacity of these solar generators by getting a DC to DC converter and then getting a cheap lithium battery and just hooking lithium battery up to your DC input and it will charge at 200 to 300 watts that way and extend the capacity a lot, especially if it has the ability to discharge while charging which I'm guessing these do. Pass through charging I believe it's called

This is a pretty good deal IMO. I got the delta 2 with extra battery for ~$1000 at the Home Depot deal. The downside of that setup is that the extra battery can't do anything on its own…it can only be a slave/secondary unit for the delta 2 pictured here…so having 2 delta 2 units may be preferable in some cases…though I doubt they can hook together the way a delta 2 plus extra battery do

I just bought the other deal for the EcoFlow River 2 Pro 768Wh, and I believe it was $279 + tax. These about the same?

eBay had the refurb BLUETTI AC180 LiFePo4 (1152Wh) briefly for $489 a few days ago, just for comparison, I'm still waiting for it to drop further

Am I missing something? Isn't this just a universal power supply?
It's like a giant power bank that also has AC outlets. Some have UPS features. But these ones on the post don't

I'll update his comment then - No, 768Wh > 720Wh.

Seriosuly though, also curious about this, as I'm new to power stations and the various brands.

No, the first River Pro is Lithium Ion, River 2 Pro is LFP

This the lowest price i've seen a an Delta 2 unit for, as they're normally Delta 1's at this price. That being said, based on what others have said YMMV with refurb quality.

I ended up replacing my Delta 1 for a Delta 2 + Delta Max (NCM) spare battery ( 1 kWH + 2 kWH) for portable camping and to run my water cooler permanently on solar lol. You need at least 3 kWh to qualify for the US tax credit which is why i went with the 3 kWh.

The Delta Max spare battery still has firmware issues though so while the Delta 2 supports it, it still reports the NCM battery as LFP stupidly.

Can you expound on the US tax credit? Links would be appreciated. Thanks!
