Also, as someone who stumbled into these devices, I felt like it was a little more complicated than "just load roms on these devices". Just requires some tinkering to make sure you end up configuring/formatting SD cards, OS install, roms and BIOS.

Found the guides at retrogamescorps (example: https://retrogamecorps.com/2023/0...er-guide/) helpful.

But once you get past initial learning curve, it's simple and fun. Great deal and would recommend to a friend.

Yes. He's saying to replace the stock sd card with a reliable one and to Google "tiny best set" for a good ROM set.

It's probably better to get rg35xx h if u r thinking of this. Difference is the layout for controls, vertical vs horizontal.

If you want to play multiplayer games then yeah it's kinda worth it just to be able to do that over Wi-Fi. But if you're only playing single player games it's not really worth the upgrade.

I mean I played Golden Ax connected to a USB c hub with a few controllers with the original one, but that took a bit of setup.

Mine had a vertical line down the center of the screen upon first use. Never bothered returning it because I had bought through temu. Haven't used it much because of the defect. I think I paid $35 for it last year

Mine has been great. It's great out of the box, but you can make it better with the tiny best set referenced above. The guides are pretty good. Only dissapointment on mine (not the plus model, not sure if that changes anything) is that while you *can* play some N64 games, it's a bit more complicated to get it going. Buy a new/bigger SDCard also. Keep the old one just in case you ever want to go back.

Now that mine is working though I just clone my sdcard and give to my friends that also bought and they have the updated set.
