Heads-up, no more warranty covering screen burn-in…tried this earlier (tried purchasing a 3 year extended warranty).

If I'm wrong, please call me out, I want to buy this…
Pretty sure only the best buy extended warranty covers burn in.

Anyone know the dimensions of the packaging? wondering if it'll fit in a back of the Model Y if the back seats are folded down.

From the Microcenter product page:

Box Dimensions (WxDxH)
76.30 x 9.00 x 44.50 in. (1938.02 x 228.60 x 1130.30 mm)

*update* I just got one home. The box dimensions on the page are off a bit from mine.

76" x 12" x 43.5"

I bought the C3 77" on sale for just 150 dollars more at $2050 taxes included. It was a buydig deal. Spend the $150 more and wait for another sale and get this TV new.

And yes, the TV is incredible.

That really shouldn't keep you from purchasing. It's practically a non-issue without severe abuse. Having an extended warranty available on a refurbished OLED should be sufficient.

Unfortunately it looks like my TV came with the wrong remote so I often see "Registering new Magic Remote" followed by "This remote is not supported by this TV" although the remote lets me navigate the menus and stuff I can't hold the settings button to go straight to settings and there seems to be some advanced magic remote features that don't work. The remote is MR22GN which seems like it would be for the 2022 models (B2, C2, G2, etc.) MR23GN [lg.com] appears to be the model for the 2023 models like this C3.

*Update* I submitted a Request for Service at https://consumerservicerefurbish.com/ since the "unit is missing an accessory" and have not heard anything back for nearly three weeks now. *Update 2* Although I did not see any communication after submitted a request for service, a MR23GN remote showed up at my house. After re-initializing the remote by pressing and holding Home+Back for 5 seconds I was able to pair it with my TV by pressing the wheel button and can now use the Magic Remote features.

55 hours powered on
Minor dent on the edge of the TV stand but otherwise is in good shape.
It came with software version 3.20.06 and I just finished installing a 1601MB update to 3.30.60 now. After the update downloaded, the TV said that the update would be applied the next time I restarted the TV. I powered the TV off with the remote then waited a minute or so and tried powering it on again. It eventually showed a webOS screen with an icon at the bottom that appeared to be saying not to unplug power. The TV appeared to turn itself back off after a short time. I tried to turn the TV back on and saw the webOS screen again. To make a long story short, the update appears to take a while (maybe around 10 minutes) so its probably best to be patient. Eventually the TV turned back on and proceeded to the home screen.

Once you cut the two nylon straps holding the box together you can lift the entire box top (and sides) off instead of trying to lif the tv out of the box like I did...

Those Microcenter refurbs are great. My last purchase was on a refurb C1 and I found out that basically these are LG factory returns or line products that are inspected and rechecked. In my case I nicely asked the saleman if when he pulled the TV if he could grab one that wasn't in the brown box. I loaded it up drove home and it was like NEW and the it had an hour on it. One last thing if you have concerns just buy the 2 or 3 yr warranty for piece of mind.
MC's warranty does not cover Screen burn in. Only Best Buy or manufacturer warranty offer it
