FWIW - My LCS says he buys 1 oz gold coins at spot + 1%. Today that's $2055. If you're a stacker this is a good opportunity, if you're a flipper I doubt it.

Yea but this allows u to use cc and executives members rewards if u haven't max. So it's sweet deal
Serious question, what are you guys doing with these? Gifts? Put them in the safe and hope for the best?
I think it's great people can buy gold this easily, but now I am really curious as to usefulness. Thanks to contributing to my COSTCO FOMO!

I assume if you have some extra cash then some gold is good diversification? You would have to keep it a few years to realize any gains though and possibly pass some down to your kids? Idk yea to your point maybe use the money for stocks instead if you want better liquidity and investment

I think a lot of people here are buying these for the Costco cash back (2% back on the credit card purchase plus 2% extra for executive members) and then selling the gold locally. Not my cup of tea, but to each his own.

Hedge against inflation. Physical assets. Stack and store.
