This is my first penn spinning reel. The inconvenient surprise for me is it has NO anti-reverse off switch.
Applied for refund fedex option will pick up from porch. Ordered a new one. If this one arrives broken I'm don't with it.

Reverse is worst thing ever.
Number 1 or 2 behind bail/trip failure point and almost nobody should be back reeling.

Penn are awesome but I prefer aluminum body whenever possible.
If the Ozark trail go back on sale I would advise people to. Get those and a better rod as they are roughly equivalent to a Penn battle only issue is be ready to buy extra and return some due to some qc issues with clunking from bad gear. The good ones have no issues whatsoever
Update: replacement arrived in perfect condition
For folks who were wondering about rod; it is a single piece rod
