I've had a unit like this for the past 12 years. The big positive, is being able to put a load in to wash and dry before leaving for work (or going to sleep) and having it done by the time I'm back. The negative - it takes 3-5 hours for a load to go through wash and dry. I dont recall this ever being an issue for me, as we dont typically have anything that needs to be washed and dried quickly - but thats something to keep in mind when considering this machine

Do you have a unit with an actual heat pump? Lg and other brands have sold other models that don't use heat pumps. They use a cooling plate powered by water which causes it to take much longer to dry. I have one of those units as well, and i agree its not for everyone cause if you need something dried fast or just cleaned fast its just not going to happen. But the heat pump based units are much faster (wash and dry in 2-3 hours). Slightly slower than a traditional drier . But pretty darn close in my opinion and no need to move the close saves you some time as well(unless you need to take things out of the drier to air dry). The other big change that takes people a bit to get used to that all ventless units have is that they build up humidity in the machine. When you open it up once the cloths is done the cloths will almost feel a bit moist. This is just cause the air in the chamber is a bit humid. But it does confuse people the first time around.

Overall, all-in-one units are amazing in their convenience and efficiency, but they introduce some new quirks that you do need to get used to. I personally don't think i can ever go back to any other type of unit.

I have been using the GE Profile all in one for the last couple of months and it takes about 2 hours for a full load. These newer models use heat pumps to generate hot air. Older models of all in ones used a different technology. Check and see what yours is. May explain why it takes so long.

Yep, looks like it is out of stock for now, at least here on East coast.

Just wondering how bad is the dent? Is it on one of the sides? If so, I'd take $230 and make this deal even slicker...LG customer care/support can be pretty bad so prepare yourself mentally...
If it's on the side, I'd gladly take the $230. However, it's straight up there at the front below the detergent tank, from the edge all the way to the door, somehow missing the door. Come to think of LG's response- they said they wanted to take a look at the extent (through photos I send) to determine what options they'd offer- refund/ repair or exchange. Does that mean if they don't think it's severe enough, exchange won't even be an option? lol. Like "C'mon dude, it's not even that bad, what's the deal with a brand new washer having a dent?"

While it definitely depends on the size of the dent, I would personally be a bit wary of any dent. I'd be concerned that since this unit does so much, there isn't much room inside and a dent could impact the longevity of the product. If it causes a warranty problem later, it's best to deal with it now than to do it much later when it fails mid load or something.

So we just got out LG combo today. We had recently purchased the GE version but was extremely co corned about the lint getting by the trap.

It's a well known issue with the GE design that lint gets by onto the coil fins and technically needs to be carefully vacuumed. After one wash cycle we say a good amount of lint on the coils.

Today we ran a few cycles with the LG and happy to report no lint after the cycle. The LG actually does a backwash of the coils and fins and the end of the cycle and I can report that there was no visible lint after each cycle.

It seems like LG is definitely the clear winner over the LG.

I ordered this from LG Partner site on Friday Jan 12th and the delivery was scheduled for today Jan 22nd. LG order status status still says awaiting shipping. So I stayed home from work today and I haven't received a phone call, or email letting me know that delivery will definitely happen. So I called the LG customer service number and it asked me to enter my order number. The automated system says no such order exists. Mind you, my credit card was charged for the full amount on Tues Jan 16th, The foreign lady who I could barely understand couldn't find the order either. After holding for 20 minutes, she finally came off hold and told me she would have someone call me. I waited almost 3 hours and no call back. So I called again, same thing happened with someone else. But this time she said I would have to send an email to [email protected] to get order update. This is strange because LG CNS appears to be located in South Korea. Who knows when they will actually read it and get back to me. This is not what I expected from a company as large as LG. Anyone else have a similar experience?
This is very concerning. I have already been charged for this product without delivery, whereas I see others have taken delivery with no charge on cc. Mine is schedule next week however their is no date on the order page, only in my initial email order confirmation. I am reading another user took delivery of a dented product and now LG customer support is giving him the runaround. I fear it is too late too cancel since I am already charge but do need this unit. I hope everything works out for you and the other users who were able to jump on this deal.

Ours came today on the Rxo truck. There was a language barrier with the drivers but they communicated the machine was too damaged to deliver it to us. So now LG is asking Rxo to send it back to them and supposedly they will send us a new one after they receive the old one from RXO. Getting ready for a cancellation

If you don't have tracking info, but expecting delivery soon, might be worth giving this a shot:

https://track.rxo.com/

I used my phone number and the delivery date I requested and it pulled up the tracking info.

So what's the consensus? Is this thing good or not? We have an old top loader with agitator and old dryer in a small laundry room. The agitator is a bit rough on clothes and the dryer seems to run a tad warm even after cleaning out the ducts. They are 15 year old units.
This would free up space for a spot to put laundry baskets

Was wondering how well balanced the spin cycle is? Ive had to return a Samsung washer because it shook my wooden house even on slow spin settings. My older Whirlpool washer did not.

Home Depot was terrible. I'll never buy another major appliance from them for that exact reason. Our washer is garbage and we couldn't get them to return it because it's not defective just a terrible design.

Update on lost order originally scheduled for delivery today: I called LG a 3rd time and talked to yet another lady who actually found my order and said the system was showing it was still at the warehouse. She said she would expedite it and I will get a new email with a new delivery date. Well its almost 11:00 at night and no email. But I checked my order status on the LG Partner website and now there's a button that says "Reschedule your delivery (You can do this once)." And it only shows Mondays as available. So I guess I'll be waiting another week for my unit. I'm so glad I got rid of my old washer and dryer yesterday. Note to LG: This is bad customer service.

Has anyone been able to figure out how to add dry as a default setting for certain wash settings?
We just tried the towel setting and dry is off by default?
Need to press the dry button to get it to dry. Makes absolutely no sense that dry is defaulted to off.

So it doesn't "remember" the modifications you make to the cycle the next time you run the same cycle? You have to re-modify the cycle every time? That's surprising and disappointing if true.
