Overall, all-in-one units are amazing in their convenience and efficiency, but they introduce some new quirks that you do need to get used to. I personally don't think i can ever go back to any other type of unit.

I have cleaned my machine one time so far, after one month of use. I will have to clean it again soon, after two weeks removed from the first cleaning due to more lint build up. I fear as the coils become more bent then more lint will be trapped deeper within over time.
How often you will have to clean will depend on how often you use your machine. You will want to clean it frequently if you have pets. I recommend taking a peek inside your lint cabin to see if you have lint build up, otherwise 1-2x a month should be fine.
I'll give phone support credit for trying to help me troubleshoot the issue, however in many cases they don't even know about this combo unit existing. You end up having to explain the product to them. One rep asked me if the installers checked the system after installation. I told him that they started a wash cycle and that it seemed to run fine. He said "then why are you trying to return the item?" I had to explain that the installers didn't stick around for 4 hours to make sure the dryer also worked.
Last but not least, the return process is painful. Each of the two departments involved ping-ponged me back and forth swearing that they could not process the return and that the other department would take care of it. I probably spoke with 10 reps in the process. Finally, the last rep I spoke to said I needed to email the returns department. I did that two days ago. So far... zero response.
Today I finally gave up hoping for a response and opened a dispute with my credit card company. I took screenshots of the invoice and return window policy to submit to my CC company.
For those of you that got working units, that's great. I wish that had been my experience. For those on the fence I hope my experience might be helpful in managing expectations.

Mine worked fine for over 30 washes but exhibited the same once. I was able to dry the cloth by canceling exiting cycle and a dry only cycle. The machine worked fine again afterwards (5 additional loads so far). I wonder if this works for you guys.
It kept tacking on time, but eventually got stuck at "4 minutes" and stayed that way for another 6 hours before I shut the machine off in the middle of the night, as it heated up the laundry room to 90 some degrees and was causing my bathroom mirror to rattle. The machine was hot to the touch, and the clothes were bone-dry - so it should not have still been running.
This seems to be happening about 1/3 of the time...the rest of the time the machine runs as it should, and finishes. But I absolutely do NOT trust the machine to run while I'm gone for days. I've been too busy to file a warranty claim but here is an updated list of my issues.
1. Unit shakes and squeaks very loudly
2. (one time) the towels remained stuck to the drum while drying, rather than tumble (leaving them damp and wrinkled). Possibly why towels does not automatically dry by default?
3. Very randomly, the dryer will run all night (until I stop it) and get extremely hot, even tho clothes are dry. It seems to get loud, hot, and vibrate while stuck drying for long periods.
4. The rubber gasket seems to collect a ton of lint, also lint and hair are often on my clothes, especially blankets. My unit is clean; it seems to be the nature of the unit. I honestly wonder if lint is covering the drying sensors.
When it works well, it's great. But it often times does not work well, and makes me sick to my stomach that I spent 2k for the unit and pedestal. The worst part is I had to re-paint my walls up the staircase and run a carpet cleaner, and replace a plank in the laundry floor after the delivery place left a mess. They also shoved 3' of drain hose into the wall until it was in the drain trap, (which the manual says NOT to do).
I plan to request a warranty replacement, but I'd honestly rather refund if there were any easy way to go about it.

Does anyone know where the dry sensor is located. I'm guessing that's what's causing the issue.

We bought 2 of these, 1 of them has worked flawlessly right out of the box since day 1 and the other one wouldn't dry sometimes and kept getting stuck indefinitely showing 4 minutes remaining dry time but never actually drying.
I called for warranty service but they were scheduling 1 month out so I decided to research and try some stuff.
Long story short, on the one that was working fine the drain hose was routed like a "N" and the one that wasn't working the drain hose was routed like an "S", I rerouted the drain hose so that they are both "N" and now both machines are working exactly as expected. I couldn't believe something so simple worked but we've ran a dozen loads without issues.
