Don't want to threadcr*p but Dollar Tree has their version of medicated body powder in an orange 10 oz container. Also talc free. I do not notice the difference.

Pretty sure the main ingredient in these talc-free ones is cornstarch... If you shower before bed then put this on, you might wake up to ants being in your bed. Don't ask how I know...

If you watched the video of the laundry detergent you're suppose to fill the bottle at the store and buy just the one or five finger discount if you really thrifty. 😅
I know the exact video you are talking about and it is crazy that they think it is ok to do this...

Will this work well on keeping nuts and gooch sweat free in normal usage? Does it have a pleasant smell?
No. It is unspeakably horrid. They replaced the talc with cornstarch. I tried it once in my shoes, and it clumped up and got sticky within an hour. Talc-based goldbond would start to clump after a few hours or more. The stickiness of the cornstarch-based goldbond also seemed much worse than talc-based goldbond. I would never put this on my nuts. It's food...

Interesting, according the pics on their website, it's also made in the USA and not China.
I don't see an orange 10 oz container on their website, only a 5 oz Arm & Hammer orange and white container and a 10 oz Perfect Purity blue container. Maybe it's only available in certain locations? Also the Perfect Purity description says 10 oz but the pic shows an 8 oz container.

Cornstarch or talc? I'm second guessing my cornstarch purchase

The one I have right now is 10 oz, made in america, cornstarch based. I will say my Dollar Treet occasional runs out of stock and only has the non medicated body powder.

That's the one I found in the blue container with the pics that show an 8 oz container instead of 10 and it's scented. The original comment about dollar tree comment mentioned an orange container which I didn't find on their website.

This is the most popular review even those 5 years old:

I have been haunting my local Dollar Tree stores, and buying up any of the formerly available talc version of this powder. I loved it, but this new cornstarch stuff sucks!! The minute you start to sweat, it turns into nasty goopy sludge. I gave this product an honest try(respecting the company's concern for our health), but it was a disaster. I ended up with seriously irritated skin, and in one case, a full on skin yeast infection! VERY UNHAPPY!! Our choices are being taken away from us all over the place, even in the Dollar Tree!

I'm pretty sure it's cuz corn starch is cheaper than talc. They can say it's for your health at the same time

Absolutely! Wear latex gloves when putting on the powder to prevent powder on your hands
Yes, absolutely the powder will eat your hands down to little nubs, but it's great on your nuts! 🤣😂🤔

The original extra strength medicated talc version from Dollar tree was the bomb shizzle. On a hot day it felt like dipping the boys in liquid nitrogen! It would get you up and dancing around!🕺🏼

I was born in stupidly hot humid Florida and used the original talc based Gold Bond for decades. The new corn starch stuff does not work. It does turn to goop.

Think about this: this is based on a food product. Yeast is a fungus that eats food products. This stuff can easily lead to yeast infections.
