Deluxe+State not including e-file for that state is such a scam move intending to deceive anyone not paying attention.

Now that Intuit is requiring people to register the software to an account beginning this filing year, I'll be moving over to this software. Intuit has gone full on EVIL although they were pretty evil even before this. They want to know everything about a person and they reserve the right to sell the information... thus making them a powerful data broker. No thanks Intuit!

There is no scam or deception.
I do not know even one tax software that includes free state efile. You must be new to doing your own taxes

100% agree. No tax software I know of that does the State Tax Filing for free. Peace
You have to realize that the Fed interface is the standard for all Tax Software companies to work with. The States all use different interface's than the Fed and therefore, they require an upcharge for the State, no matter what one it is. Also, I hope folks realize they can still file via Mail-just paying the postage. Much cheaper than paying for online filing. nod

Does anyone know how to use this after installation to file your personal taxes? Does the key work on downloading Premium w/o business?

I am under the impression it's Premium & Business meaning you can do your W2 that is not associated with your business.

FYI, I just noticed that Premium +State+eFile wasInstalled as a separate program during the installation of Premium & Business.

For whatever reason in the windows search, when I would start typing "H" or "H&" only Business 2023 would appear and my previous installation from last year 2022 of Premium.

Yes I believe Business is a seperate program (with a completely diffferent UI) than standard/deluxe/premium. It sounds like they still haven't integrated them.

Yup, I didn't know when I purchased the software download, that installation file would install two separate programs.

Plus the windows search debacle I explained to add to the confusion.
