For this build, even at peak load, 5600G consumes around 81W of power and RTX 3060, around 175W. So,even at peak load for both CPU and GPU, you'll still have around 144W remaining for powering the rest of the components. Also, this is the worst case scenario because in real world cases like Gaming, both the components are never gonna be utilized 100% together, that only can be seen in torture test.

Dead, does not mean unusable, which is what it sounds like you think it means. DDR4 is fine for many use cases, but regardless it's still an outdated and (while there is some legacy support for it), is still an abandoned platform. Many mobo manufactures started discontinuing DDR4 mobos because there is simply no need to continue making them, because why would you buy a DDR4 mobo when you can get a DDR5 variant for not that much more money, if any more at all?
In addition, it doesn't really make too much sense (In my humble opinion) to bother upgrading this thing. If you only plan on upgrading the CPU into a 5800x3d (as you said), you'd be getting a performance increase in some titles but most would not see any noticeable upgrade except in very CPU bound games (checked some benchmarks, look at the bottom of the reply). Moreso, you'd be held back by the 3060 in the pc.If you really want to buy this with the intention of upgrading, you'd be better off just building your own from scratch. It'd be roughly the same price for equivalent specs (wouldn't recommend this build exactly, but as a quick list thrown together https://pcpartpicker.co
