That is perfectly fine for this configuration. Most people get wrong idea by looking at the recommended power supply from the GPU manufacturer's site without realizing those were given for the worst case scenarios, using ultra high end processors and other components.
For this build, even at peak load, 5600G consumes around 81W of power and RTX 3060, around 175W. So,even at peak load for both CPU and GPU, you'll still have around 144W remaining for powering the rest of the components. Also, this is the worst case scenario because in real world cases like Gaming, both the components are never gonna be utilized 100% together, that only can be seen in torture test.
When you buy a prebuild, they will give you specification needed for that configuration. Anyway, this uses standard ATX PSU. So, you can upgrade to a higher wattage one easily.
There are plenty of way to upgrade it. DDR4 is not dead at all, even all the Intel's latest Desktop processors support it. And for AM3 platform, there are plenty of CPU options available for upgrade to get niceboost in gaming or productivity. You can easily get a Ryzen 7 5800X3D or even the upcoming Ryzen 7 5700X3D in this platform to get a nice boost in performance. Not sure why you think DDR4makes it non-upgradable.

I think you meant to say AM4 platform but I definitely agree this PC has room for one round of upgrades (CPU, GPU, PSU, and maybe RAM) before needing to get in a newer platform.
I would wait for something like the ZOTAC G3 PCs that were on Woot recently. It was only $50 more than this and had a newer gen/better version of practically every component.
