People were waiting for these monitors. They just became available to purchase.

Here's the 27" 360Hz OLED monitor too ($900):

The new OLED ultrawides that many people want are not currently available. They will cost more than the 32" version above.

Do they make a flat screen version?
16x9 32" is too small to be curved

I believe Samsung will be having the flat model come out. It will probably cost more initially but will drop pretty drastically with EPP discounts after a few months (or that's what usually happens with Samsung monitors and TV's). That said, I don't think Samsung covers burn in with their monitors like Alienware does - Alienware has a 3 year burn in guarantee I believe with this.

i have a feeling we'll be able to get these for less than a grand this year... there's so many oled monitors being released at such fantastic price points, i have a hard time imaginig any of these products maintaininn their prices throughout the year.

i think next year will be the year to buy, with the release of the new GPUs and such.

This is more of a PSA post by OP but I appreciate it.

Definitely fits most of the description of a dream monitor (ding on the curve for me)

Thanks OP

I went for one, I'll be comparing it to my Acer XV275K P3 and don't imagine the Acer will remain my primary after this shows up, but we'll see.

I feel like I would have preferred a flat 27" 4K OLED, but this AW has Dolby Vision and eARC which are both extremely rare features for desktop monitors, so that was enough to push me into early adoption.

I was able to get 5% off with id.me, only a $60 discount so not much, but a certain cashback site just offered 15% back on monitors at Dell, so my total taxed should be roughly $1020 after the cashback comes through.

EDIT: Returning the monitor. Picture quality is fine, but eARC bitstreaming isn't properly implemented which is the main feature I wanted, and the cashback was never reported/confirmed. Not worth it over my old setup. I will wait for next year's model or another brand that has true eARC support.

So I pushed the button - 15% CB Q + $70 dell reward (from a previous laptop purchase) + $200 off business platinum my final price = $800 including tax shipped to Jersey. The msi 32 inch has cheating powers and a kswitch and a gaming dot and I want all that stuff but paying 800 versus paying 1300 is a deal breaker for me. Can't wait to get it next week!

I just bought the 34" around Thanksgiving... bought this since the 15% cashback pushed me to it. I only had $40 off $200 at Amex, but I did have the 5% coupon and a $25 promo gc to use up as well. I think my total after taxes is around $1010. Now expecting that I will have to get a dual arm mount so I can stack them (I might try to sell the 34").

My kids also broke my 27" 4K side monitor today, so there's my final justification Big Grin
