I understand the deals reset but do they keep the same reference number? Since I got out, I havent paid that close of attention but I would expect that they do since tags are not being reprinted/ rehung (or at least that was part of the excuse for going to a 2 week ad so I assume that's what's happening). If that's the case, I would anticipate an issue with at least some of the historically problematic deals (not all were).
Thanks. That makes a lot of sense. I mean your comment not CVS lol.

The deal id numbers do change for the second week. Last week the Poparazzi buy 2 get $4 EB id number was 103761 but this week it is 103925.

Rice Krispies Treats 8ct $1.99 - didn't see in ad and not tagged at 2 of my stores (buddy told her it wasn't tagged for her too). Scan at Red Box to confirm.
Get .75 ib (L5)
Was kinda shocked to find (6) on shelves, cuz whenever it's $1.99per, I always found limited inventory. Maybe 2week ad's are having an effect on the qty that's being sent to stores from the whse?

So are the instore hang tags being changed out weekly to reflect the new ID #s?

Do you mean the event numbers? Those have never been on the tags here, even before the 2 week ads. I've only seen them in the ads themselves.

If someone prints their coupons at the red machine this week, can you confirm if the weeklies extend?

Hopefully if it's like the second week of the two week ad last week, they will.

Thanks!

They are definitely not changing out tags. According to them, less tags was the reason for the two week ads. The only number I recall seeing on tags is the specific item's sku #

More invalid coupons.....the kotex ip's from their website. These worked fine just last month. I was buying the big packs, no go. And the 50 cent scott paper towels ip from the scott website. Both invalid. Stupid cvs!
Yes, the same happened to me with the Kotex.
Luckily, a helpful store employee did a price modify for the coupon value.

I think CVS has coded the buy 1 get 1 half off kotex sale as a coupon which invalidates
the IP Frown.

In addition, the in-store price was 50c higher than the app store pickup price for the same product.

Nah, if it said, invalid, it has nothing to do with the store pricing. It has to do with their new programming/coupon list that seems to make most valid printable coupons invalid🙄.

It actually said "coupon not accepted".
When the employee forced the coupon, it removed the 50% off discount on the second item.
The employee then had to price modify the coupon value + the 50% discount.
Lastly, it was showing the 50% off as "Mfr coupon" on the screen

All of this was on SCO.
BTW, I mentioned the higher store pricing as an aside to watch for.

Because the discount no longer applies if the modified item is no longer full price. Valencia is correct.

Either way though, an item being on sale bogo50 should not affect whether or not a coupon can be used unless the item ends up being below the coupon value after the 50% off. I know how it shows up on screen as "mfr coupon" but that wouldn't make a difference. I bought an Irish Spring and a Softsoap. The Softsoap rings up 50% off but both the coupon for the IS and SS still applied. Price Mods can be a different story.

Yes! The Event #s. I thought I remembered a pretty long time ago, back when rain checks used to be helpful that the Event #s were on the tags. Am I mis remembering or is this something that changed and I just didnt notice...either way, that's what I was thinking.

I knew that was the "reason" for the two week ad but companies lie all the time so it wouldnt have surprised me all that much to find out they were still changing tags weekly. LOL See above for what I was thinking.
