If you've having an electrician install this charger in a hardwired config make sure they understand that the charger has built-in protection and likely will not require a GFCI breaker. If they're still saying that by code you have to install GFCI protection then I'd get a 2nd opinion from a different electrical contractor.
From the Chargepoint install manual "If local codes require a GFCI breaker for plug-in installation, ChargePoint recommends a hardwire installation. We do not recommend
using a GFCI breaker as the Home Flex has charging circuit interrupting
device (CCID) protection. Using a GFCI breaker in the panel can cause
nuisance tripping."

I asked the company stripped everything and hardwired the wall connector instead.

Either version can hardwired but it's nice they have a dedicated hardwire only version now since I just have the plug cables taking up space from the version I bought.
Charge Point also sells a NACS replacement cable which is good to know if I switch out my vehicle in a few years.

If you don't know you can remove the nema plug and hardwire it to get 11.5kw charge
all their units are the same different ones just come with a different plug but they can all be interchanged.
On top of that, my utility company had a rebate of up to $500 on a charger. Wanting to maximize that rebate, I was only looking at $500 or more chargers. For whatever it's worth, the chargepoint has been great. I hardwired mine but in the settings I keep it on the lowest setting to hopefully preserve my car's battery. While not exactly being in the elements, mine lives out in the carport and it's been good so far.
I'm guessing I'll replace the charging handle/cable when I upgrade from the Niro. I know there's adapters but it looks like I can just swap the cable so that's what I'll do now that there's an actual standard.
Chargepoint already sells a NACS cable conversion kit for 200 bucks, and its back ordered.(for hardwired CPH50 though)
