I couldn't believe it and doubt it'll ever get so cheap again. Thank goodness for SD!
Anyway, I've been very happy. The only thing I don't like is that I can't customize much in the app. Our old original iPad mini won't connect either, which was still working for my 5 yo.

Thanks for the history lesson but it doesn't help anyone now. That was a pretty good deal. This isn't bad for now
It was an Amazon deal of the day and Eero joint promotion, not a single clearance deal at some rando nearby brick and mortar that only applied to me. It also was late last year, not three years ago.
Besides, by your logic we shouldn't ever use sites like CCC.
Anyone who knows more than me can compare the speed possible through this versus the Orbi AC3000 (RBK53)? I am looking to upgrade sometime soon but I want to make sure its a noticeable jump.
The eero app is so weak. Can't even throttle bandwidth to devices.
Yea, there are limitations.
I had issues using two Asus routers in mesh, and was looking for a solution that would easily get me full signal to the back of the house instead of nothing. This worked well for that and has been rock steady. With that said, I would not have paid this current price for it. The $80 may have been a fluke, but it was a great price for my scenario and budget.
Never said it was random place or anything what I'm saying is that your comment doesn't help anyone looking for one now. Yes you got a great deal but by your own admission, you said it will probably never happen again, so I'm not sure if you're just bragging, but again, thanks for your information

Just because it doesn't help you doesn't mean it's not relevant. This is a sucker's deal. They've got Eero 6E and now 7 on the market, so they'll try to clear the inventory on the Eero 6. Consider this the standard price.

How did you get so much out of what they said that you feel you need to defend yourself on multiple fronts? Nobody's out to get you. It was a great deal, but one Amazon messed up on so it's not likely to come back. Unfortunately, not everyone qualified for the extra coupon at the time, and others may have missed it, so we still need to continue to have deals posted.

Isn't the 3 pack going for $179 and 2pack for $125 on Amazon?
Amazon eero 6 mesh Wi-Fi system | Supports speeds up to 500 mbps | Connect to Alexa | Coverage up to 3,000 sq. ft. | 2-pack, one router + one extender, 2020 release https://a.co/d/2gpaOtD
The deal posted here is for the pro model, whereas what you linked to is the non-pro version. The one you linked to also is a one pack with an extender or two, not a true two or three pack.
