This USB hub has "power delivery" aka "PD" which means that the USB-C ports can output up to 100W to power other devices plugged into it. The hub itself would need to be supplied with that 100w+ from elsewhere first, though. So if you wanted to charge your phone or tablet or something off of this, it'd need to be plugged into another power adapter brick or device outputting that.
Edit: worked fine with 12.9" 5th Gen iPad Pro!

Thanks OP!
PD 100W Power Output - Maximum 100W power output with the USB-C PD port, fully charges your laptop in a snap. Note: USB c dongle need to connect to another power supply to charge laptops.
Anyone know if this would work with a current gen iPad Pro?

Oh, sorry I misunderstood. I just assumed everyone knows that a hub like this doesn't supply power unless it's being powered
The cheapest steam deck docks are about $20 and have Ethernet. I've been using one with my computer with not obvious issues.

No kidding. I need to find a 'real' dell dock or something - I have a 12" MacBook that has only one USBc port that I'm using alongside my synology NAS for downloads and the -arrs etc. right now the usb c port is only supplying power, I really need to get it wired in via Ethernet
