I've been a RoadID customer for a few years now and it negates the need for me to carry an ID while riding my bikes. Depending on the size of the faceplate, you can have your name and 2-3 contact details on the faceplate. The engraving on the face plate is solid, and the value over a phone is it doesn't rely on a battery and your emergency contacts are listed right on the faceplate

The real value though is in the myroadid service where you can upload a bunch of details (including blood type, insurance, allergies, contacts etc) that first responders can access in case of an emergency. It costs something like $20/year to use that service but worth it IMO, especially if you are active outdoors

Free $10 gift cards with code - https://www.roadid.com/products/r...egift-card
  • edit 1: they're VERY slowly arriving. Took about 40 minutes for the first one. you do NOT need to provide any type of credit card info for any of this process btw.
  • edit 2: placed an order for a wristband for my dad who has parkinsons. Don't know if they'll ship but ty OP.
  • edit 3: When checking out use the promo code again for $10 off and then use the "Gift Card Pin" they give you via the email in the promo code section. Emails are taking 2+ hours to deliver (if they still are).

you also get free shipping when you buy a gift card, so you might be able to get your eventual order shipped for free too with another gift card purchase + code

Are these "dead" tags to identify a body found hit on a side of a road? Can't you just have an id in a pocket?
Catered to the biker who carries absolutely nothing on them....

Never wanted to pay the price for these with the emergency contact info available on phone and watch, but free after free gift cards is worth a shot.

My dog wears this brand as her dog tag. She doesn't like the jingle jangle of a traditional dog tag. However looks like road id and dog id are two separate companies now and the discount code/gift card is not applicable to dog id

As an er doc, this product seems fairly worthless
If you are hit or have a medical emergency, I don't care about your insurance, blood type, name, allergies, any of that. It's not useful to first responders. Just bring your ID to make it easier for us to find your family. Or don't - we'll still find them Eventually

I just ordered the cheapest things. Two stretch wristbands and 2 badges that were on clearance, paid $3 for shipping.
