Contains Red 40 and 30 grams of sugar per serving (I.e. 2 pop tarts is 1 serving)…otherwise a relatively tasty deal

Thanks for that. I've been trying to avoid red 40 with too many bouts of cancer in the fam. Wondering if the Trader Joe's one is any better

Thank you. In for 2 and got my Nexxus shampoo & conditioner BOGO 50% off. The total amount with the two poptarts after tax is cheaper than the same shampoo & conditioner at Target. Hope they fill the online order before someone grabs them off the shelf!

If you are worried about Red 40 then you may want to stop consuming WATER as it often contains carcinogens and such that are worse than Red 40. Trust, the EPA has a 200 page report for the Aquifer below my area from the 1980s and there are 3 carcinogens in the well water, municipal water is far worse as it goes through miles of plastic pipes with a mix of ammonia and bleach in it - this is far more of a health hazard than ANY artificial coloring. (I mostly only drink Aquafina or Distilled water personally, I won't even boil noodles in tap water it legit has viruses that can't be killed by boiling, look it up!)

Also, Trader Joes products are based around masking bad ingedients not totally removing them - if you want clean food you have to shop at Wholefoods or a similar store. Even then you still need to look at every label as there is sketchy stuff in many foods that isn't yet considered sketchy - such as Phosphates, which were banned from detergents of all sorts two decades ago because they kill all things that live and yet every other food preserved food we put in our mouths has them. They are destroying us, along with things like THBQ, and it makes Red 40 look like a health food by comparison..

I am a person who has lost an organ in the pelvic region to cancer and underwent chemo for it over 10 years ago. Trust I take this stuff seriously as I am mostly Naturopathic but literally the food colorings in moderation really aren't even nearly the least unhealthy ingredient in this product, heck this product indeed HAS both Phosphates AND TBHQ and I will tell you I don't even look for the colors because they really aren't a health risk when there are items like these in the product. Some people are too concerned about the boogieman with a knife at their back door when the entire military is trying to break in the front and they aren't even paying attention to it - they are distracted by the things that are unlikely to harm them by comparison. Best to focus on the actual problematic ingredients.

I found out my triglycerides are through the roof. And I don't think it means in a good way through the roof. so I've started noticing how much sugar is in some of this stuff. lol. SUPPSOEDLY you can eat 30 grams added sugar per day, but I'm sure it's still stretching it. But I noticed some desserts I was eating would even have like 60 grams.

There's not really anything left anymore, though, that tastes good AND isn't a cancer risk. Or even unrelated to food.... the cancer causing ingredients in shampoos. It's really getting depressing.

I always heard trader joe's talked up and so I thought it was not only good tasting, but healthier, but I notice they have an INSANE amount of sugar in some products that other brands have much less of.

$10 min kills the deal. Great price! Walgreens must be run by a bunch of morons. It's all about getting people into the stores. PASS.

Thought I got a deal on an 8 pack at Gross-Out (Grocery Outlet), $1.77 Day In Day Out price there, but only grab one every few months to quench the sugar monster.
