these SUCK. I wish the Keebler ones would come back, these are really the only ones left. These legit taste like they're covered in wax because cost cutting ruined the frosting.

When didn't they change the product? I used to love these!

I think this brand has always been the same… The Keebler ones were so much better though and these didn't come around until they stopped making Keebler
These 100% have transfat but are labeled as if they don't have transfat. Hydroganted palm oil. Gross.

Remember these are cookies bro lol
Falls under the category of junk food, you know, Doritos, soda, chips donuts etc…. I'm all for organic and non gmo but I also believe it's okay on occasion to cheat here and there. It's another story to eat stuff like this on the daily.

I know they are junk food. The point is transfats have been banned in the US because of how toxic they are and yet gross companies still put them in products. But you can eat whatever junk you want.

It's partially hydrogenated oils that produce trans fat, and those are banned. Fully hydrogenated oils have very little, comparable to what's found naturally in food. https://www.fda.gov/food/food-add.../trans-fat

I'm sorry but I understand chemistry. You have no idea what you're talking about if you think partially hydrogenated oils are worse than fully hydrogenated oils. The process of hydrogenated oils (partially or fully) makes the hydrocarbon bonds stronger meaning more energy to burn meaning harder for your body to remove. When they call something trans fat that means they have converted carbon bonds from cis to trans or regular to trans. A trans bond is a double bond between carbon atoms. Hydrogenating (partially or fully) creates those bonds.
EDIT: also the FDA link you posted makes no mention of fully hydrogenated fats and their relation to trans fats. It was written by someone that has a rudimentary understanding of organic chemistry for an audience that doesn't understand organic chemistry at all. And even in the article they mention that hydrogenated fats are not recognized as safe to eat. But if you want to eat something that the US government and every single other foreign government has deemed unsafe to eat then I can't stop you.

"Fully hydrogenated fats and oils do not contain trans-fat, thus do not have the same health risk, but average consumers cannot distinguish the difference between fully hydrogenated fats and oils and partially hydrogenated fats and oils, so a lot of food manufacturers try to avoid all hydrogenated fats and oils on their labels. It raised new challenges to the edible oil industry to manipulate the consistency and functionality of fats and oils through other measures." Dongming Tang, in Encyclopedia of Food Chemistry, 2019
Nobody said its good for you. Butter isn't really good for you either, so what? But you said these have trans fat, which is clearly accepted as being worse.
