This is a great monitor for gaming. I never had any issues with it's brightness, but I hate that LG used non standard subpixel layout.

Allegedly to some people the text looks slightly blurrier due to the subpixel layout. But I have a 48" W-OLED as a monitor and calibrating Windows Clear text makes it a non issue. People like to parrot it. QD-OLED however has color fringing on text which is awful, think chromatic aberration.
