Doesn't blend in at all.
Black reflects less than white and is better in a light-controlled dedicated home theater room.
White is a good compromise when the theater room is shared, like a living room, where aesthetics are more important at non movie watching times.
I've had a ton of friends over watching F1 over the past season and had multiple people comment that they couldn't believe it was a projector given the sharp/bright image. My only other minor gripe is that the Harmony remote software just cannot seem to reliably turn the projector off as part of a macro, though complaining that a dead ecosystem doesn't support a new product is a bit silly.

Back in the day, I had a 720p DLP projector and a 100" screen that was REALLY fun to watch movies on with friends. We're now in the 4K/laser era of projectors. Back when I was shopping projectors, JVC and Sony were top choices, with Epson and BenQ close behind. Did that change in the last decade?
