If anyone is on the fence about these great guitars except for the satin finish, it can be buffed to a really nice vintage gloss. I've buffed several satin nitro guitars with Virtuoso polish and they all have come out great. They don't have the sheen of a regular gloss, but they are super smooth without that sticky nitro feel, plus no more worrying about uneven wear from playing.

Here's a good video showing the process and before/after:

I did mine with Meguiars Ultimate Polish and an electric buffer laugh out loud Worked incredibly well, but I kept the faded finish on my 2005 Les Paul. The faded finish on it aged incredibly well and now it looks like a vintage instrument. I could see buffing out a solid body guitar, but if you get a burst you may want to leave the faded finish.

Not sure if satin and faded are the same though.

Looks like Ice Tea is just "clearance" now and no longer has the addition 10% discount.

The wine red still shows for me as $1799.10 in cart.

Problem is that this finish is not durable and chips easily. I used to own one of these and after just couple months you see areas where finish is gone and wood is exposed. You can polish to make it look shiny, but polishing will not solve the issue of weak finish. Unless you want that distressed look I'd advise you to stay away from these guitars.

It's a store model plus finish on these is not durable and chips easily. This is the same model in normal shiny and durable finish, but it's $700 more:

$1,999 is fine but not the best I've seen in the past few months. ($1,799 is not what I'm seeing in cart either)

I would be very wary of the high potential to be sent a used/floor model guitars on this model particularly. Keep in mind how close the nearest place is you can return it when they send you a non factory sealed one.

Don't buy this at this price. Wait until it's not "on sale" and use chat to get 15% off. $1,699.99 is better than $1,799.99.
