Brushed tools, but for the homeowner these will likely be able to handle 90% of your basic needs. Seems like a good deal if someone needs a good starter.
Seems like a decent deal if you're already locked into Milwaukee. I've chosen Ridgid (or had it chose for me) so this is cost prohibitive for me. Still rep'd.

Not bad, the saw and the orbital sander by itself as a combo is already $219. Here you also get two batteries, a light, a drill, and an impact driver. I don't need the drill or the impact driver, might consider getting it to just sell it off to reduce my acquisition of tools.
The Ridgid brushless $215 deal is superior right now I'd say if you're starting a collection
Only issue is then you'd be in the Ridgid ecosystem, at least if you're trying to be frugal. No fanboying but just something to keep in mind. It's best to then continue buying tools for brands you already have batteries and chargers for. So if you plan to get into and stay in Ridgid, then yes it's the better deal.
