I find their inventory is rarely accurate from the website. Especially for discounted items. If you really need some, Autozone usually has brake cleaner pretty cheap. $4.19 is what I see online, but I used to see a store brand there for less. Not sure if they still have that.

Well, for one thing, good luck finding it at a lowes. I doubt the walmart brand is made by walmart. It could be made for walmart by brakleen and slapped with a super tech label.

This is one of those stupid things that COVID made expensive but I suspect will come back down to inflation adjusted normal price in the next few years, if not this year. The manufactures did have a disruption, but it's not justifiable and competitors will come into the market.

Like AquaWinter4340 said, Walmart has been selling this stuff for cheap for awhile. There's no point in paying more except if you are a sucker that won't shop around.

That being said, this is still a good deal. My Lowes says it has 16 in stock, but I almost never use this stuff (I use lots of isopropyl and acetone). Not worth the trip for me.
