1.) 4k versions pretty much guaranteed vs who knows right now at VUDU.
2.) Free 4k upgrades from Apple if the movies get upgraded later.
3.) I trust Apple to not mess things up. Movies anywhere only works when given the right information. I have had some issues with VUDU not relaying the right information.
4.) Apple has the best quality so most of my digital is direct from them, even if it is MA.

Jack Nicholson stars as a Navy Chaser who decides to show his callow young prisoner (Randy Quaid) one last good time before delivering him to the brig.
It's a time capsule from life 51 years ago, but really well-acted. Jack slayed.

I don't know if more have extras via the Movies Anywhere app like how Mr. & Mrs. Smith Unrated gets the Theatrical Cut at MA along with all the extras that were on the DVD release on top of the Unrated Cuts different extras. I only checked a few of this collection and I see Salt (Extended Cut) gets the Theatrical Cut at MA while it's not listed on the iTunes Extras.Again, it's ONE DOLLAR PER MOVIE! If half of them suck or don't interest you, it's TWO DOLLARS PER MOVIE! Even on sale you're not going to get 25 4K movies for $25. For me probably a third are going to be chaff, but that still makes the remaining movies just a couple of bucks and I don't need to file 100 Blu-rays. (Yes, when the EMP ends the Internet I'll be sad, but other considerations than "not being able to stream" will probably take precedence.)
Personally I could not. There's a lot of bargain bin junk here.

I mean 2 movies out of 100 are not MA. At that point you need to just decide how badly you want those two movies I guess. 98 movies will port to whatever service you prefer. Apple is by far the best platform to redeem on since they provide free 4k when available and will also upgrade titles. So, weigh things I guess if you don't use apple tv.
iTunes - Free upgrades to 4K makes it a no brainer
VUDU - Chinese company, lifetime 40 GC per account, possible downgrades
Microsoft - restrictive
Google - rarely has bundled deal
But after Vudu added their Lists feature I created a list of "My Not On iTunes" movies. I have about 40 of them. A couple of the movies the Blu-ray had a HD Vudu code but the iTunes Digital Copy was SD only. And there is no free upgrade with SD codes so the ones that aren't MA were stuck in SD on iTunes. With those I deleted them in my iTunes Library so no one ends up watching it in SD when they don't have to.
And so now I treat iTunes as my main library and only buy non MA compatible movies there if I can help it. By last count I had around 60 that are "stuck" there. Friends and family seem to be more comfortable with the idea of using the AppleTV app anyways. But that list I have on Vudu made it easy browse my "other" movies for something to watch.
Oh.. and if I wanted this deal I would buy it on AppleTV. $1 per movie is amazing but I looked through the list and only found maybe 10 movies I would watch. Certainly not a good deal for me.
