Bought this 7 years ago at around the same price. Still working great, even if the grill covers for the speakers got a little dirty and scuffed.

sound wise this is a 10/10 for the price.. but build quality is like a 4/10. i have 2 of them, 1st one the speaker knob requires me to put pressure on it a certain way or it makes loud static noises, the second one the clips for the speaker plug just snapped off.

I believe these go lower price often. Don't fall for it unless you want them asap, great speakers. I have 2 sets around the house. Got them from costco cheaper than this.

I bought the non-thx version for about $50 last year. The speakers are amazing. If you can, wait for the $50-60 price point.

I have both. If you're ok with spending more, then get the Edifier R1280DBs and add a sub. The Edifier is also more "future proof" since it has optical input and Bluetooth. Say one day you upgrade, you can use the Edifier for a TV

I've had mine for 13 or 14 years...and I coveted them for a good 6 or 7 years before that. Still going strong! I wish I had an excuse to get a second set.

Owned 2 units before that lasted about a year before developing the popping noise. Went back to Logitech

Had mine for 10 years and they're still fantastic. It's survived 3 moves so far

The other recent deals I've seen on these speakers were for the bluetooth version. This set has the THX certification and no bluetooth. Does anyone know if the THX version is supposed to be better? I have the bluetooth version, but I never use the bluetooth. If I lose power, the speakers always default to bluetooth, so I have to press the volume know to switch it to line input.

This product has to be one of the longest-tenured on SD, haha

These are really good speakers but they generate a buzzing static noise when nothing is playing. It's gotten to the point where I have them unplugged when not using.

These sound great got em for around $60 over a year ago but it's weird to me that they can't be turned off.
