Beware people who tell you Lenovo refurbs are "just like new." I bought four Lenovo refurbs from Ebay in the last year and they all had bits of food inside, some hair, and had some scratches. Only one looked like it had been cleaned.

Once they were cleaned up, they were pretty good, except for one which was so bad I sent it back, but the others were okay.

Just beware.

Tried 8GB and 16GB, no problem.
According to Crucial [crucial.com], could take a 32GB (totally 40GB) if needed.​

Beware people who tell you Lenovo refurbs are "just like new." I bought four Lenovo refurbs from Ebay in the last year and they all had bits of food inside, some hair, and had some scratches. Only one looked like it had been cleaned.

Once they were cleaned up, they were pretty good, except for one which was so bad I sent it back, but the others were okay.

Looks like you can get it (or very similar) straight from Lenovo for $268, but it doesn't come with the 2 year Allstate warranty. It comes with a 1 year Lenovo warranty.

Only 1 ssd slot, no space for secondary drive. will need to swap out for larger one if needed.

I bought two refurbs last year 14 inch 2/1 5i i3-1315u and 15 inch touch 5i with i7-1255u. Both were like new, they were from ebay and lenovo either way. I bought them from lenovo by mistake so it worked out.
