Somehow I manged to get the phone with no trade in for 1174.05 out the door. I managed to get the education discount for 204.62
Promo discount of 150.00
Samsung credit for 86.60
And
Bundle discount for 38.74
At this rate I realized I could have gotten more for the bundle but I wasn't going to risk going back because this has been the cheapest I have been able to get it to! I used the shop samsung app.

I feel the same, but I think the ultra also gets a better glass and is titanium. I'm not sure if those are worth $200 price different for me.
I've read several opinions both positive and negative regarding "titanium frame" phones so I honestly don't think it will even be noticeable. I've read claims that if dropped the phone frame may bend and then the other claims that it's impossible because it's so strong thus making it that more durable. 🤷

Only getting an extra $27.50 with Samsung Military Offer Program. Like TofuVic said, the offer was higher a few hours ago.
I get $27.50 in app, but a bit under $200 on website. The price skyrockets when attempting to check out.

I ordered the S24 Ultra, 512GB, titanium violet.

I did not receive the $50 reservation code either, but did the following. I went on to chat with a customer service rep and explained that I did not get an e-mail with the reservation code. The rep was helpful enough and offered straight away to generate a $50 code for me which I could apply towards accessories. Hence the price of the Buds2 Pro for $14.90 and the Vegan Leather case for $0.00.

*Remark:
Buds2 Pro $34.90 + Vegan Leather case $30 = $64.90 - $50 reservation credit (generated by CS rep) = $14.90 Buds2 Pro and $0.00 Vegan Leather case.

Galaxy S24 Ultra 512GB (Unlocked)

PRICE: $594.45 $1419.99

Instant Trade-in Discount:

Samsung - Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G

Galaxy Buds2 Pro, Graphite

Vegan Leather case for Galaxy S24 in Ultra, Black
PRICE: $0.00

Ever had issue getting the CB from the purchase? I'm let the crappy samsung site tick me off. My educator's discount is now $67 less than just a couple hours ago. As it sits now my cart reflects the following discounts...

Total Savings $1,116.69
Trade-In Discount(s)-$600.00
Bundle Discount(s)-$122.99
Promotional Discount(s)-$120.00
Education Savings-$123.70
Promo Code - EUREKA(redacted)
-$150.00

I DID NOT enter the coupon code. It automatically added itself at some point trying to check out the hundreds of times this afternoon. I believe the code showed up as a "bonus" the site added after I sat through part of the (very) sad "live" launch event. I was afraid that promo code might negate the CB.
If the CB wouldn't drop off the added discount would offset the current checkout overcharge and prevent me from dealing with the hell that is Samsung cart customer service.
In my case I have a Flip5 I really need to get out of via trade. The annoying drawbacks of the flip has eventually driven me a bit nutty. I have to make a move at some point in near future. Not if, but when. The only thing that makes me want to jump on a deal sooner than later is how fast Samsung usually runs out of the preferred accessories (cases and buds).
What is the promo code?

Are all "savings" options including education, first responder etc. capped at $20 now?

I didn't list all of it because I did know with code was unique. As I mentioned I never added it, my guess was it was an additional discount for watching part of their live train wreck.

Is that for the 512G or 1T????

I get that $467.49 price on the total of the 1st page for 1T (with trade in and edu), but then it always switches to $569.49 on cart page.

Super frustrating that price keeps switching between 1st and cart page!! On top of the other frustrations with their cart and login to edu stuff today.
It was for the 512GB model. $467.49 plus tax which in CA is like $110 extra.

I was planning to pre-order, but Samsung's wonky website and checkout issues stopped me from doing so. The discounts are no longer as good as they were just a couple hours ago, so despite trying multiple times, I am now giving up. I guess I'll keep my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra another year, or until I find a better offer. I wonder how many potential customers Samsung lost due to their website issues that seem to present themselves almost every year that a new flagship smartphone is released.

I did calculations of how much it would cost, and this is my summary: Trade in Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra (512GB) smartphone to purchase a $1,419.99 Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra (512GB) smartphone for $415.90 (excluding sales tax), and earn $150 credit to purchase products on Samsung.com.

Cost summary in this image.

Take care,
Tofu Vic
Where is 27% off for edu/mil coming from? The website only says 5% (even though initially it shows higher, but then lower later, which matches 5%). 27% doesn't even match the numbers shown here.

Could you please share that complete code here if you already placed the order? Will see if it's a reusable code!

Their percentages and dollar amounts definitely do not match. And as I pointed out earlier, even though the Education and Military discounts have the same percentage, their dollar amounts are slightly different. I would have pre-ordered at the price I was getting earlier, but due to website issues, I could not.

To be clear, the percentage and dollar amounts I have listed are directly from Samsung. I did not do any calculations to arrive at those values.

Other than mobile carrier deals, I do NOT remember that much trade in value for that device last year.
Yea I don't think they ever offered that much for a Note10+. I'm still debating whether to make the jump or not. My Note10+ back cover is coming off. I could glue it back but I don't know if that's going to cause a problem. Other thing is that the phone is still perfectly useable so I don't technically need to upgrade right now. Decisions decisions.

$400 ish is the max i'm willing to pay to trade my s22 ultra for the s24, the best i can get now its $600 (550 if i contact chat for a $50 off code) which is still too much. Looks like they pulled some kind of bait and switch scummy trade in and increases prices few hours ago, for that im out.

So without going through all these comments it should like there isn't a good deal on Samsung's site or T-Mobile for me with a S21U?

Ridiculous how the education discount shows as $177.38 at first, but drops to $97.50 at checkout.
