S24 Ultra 512GB unlock for $472 with S22 ultra trade in using pre order link and edu discount.

Is this a good deal or should I wait?

Is that the final checkout price? I get all kinds of random prices, but on the final checkout screen is always $617.

That's with the military discount, not edu.

I would jump on that in a second.

This is with education discount with Note 20 Ultra trade. Includes Buds2 Pro free.

After 5% paypal, 12% that website, 3% amex, total should be $544.68. Is this a good deal?

A few years ago, i remember it being a complete pain to get HD voice, wifi-calling, etc working on a unlocked phone. Is that the experience today for people using ATT, Verizon, etc?
not with US-sold phones. Yes with global phones

Which Amex card do you have that's giving 3%? If it's the Simply Plus Biz, might want to check past transaction as Samsung is never considered computer hardware store for me.

Blue cash. They have a promo that's 3% back on all online shopping. I'm gonna use PayPal funded by amex.

Why does PayPal give you 5% back?

Idk. For using PayPal. Go to deals and select offers. Search for Samsung. 5% back will be deposited into your account. Then you can transfer to your bank.

So has anyone tried the past years' cancel trick yet to see if there's a retention offer? From the wiki, it looks like if I do cancel and it doesn't give me the option to back out, I won't be able to reorder and use the accessories promo code again. A bit risky.

Really. Even if you select pay with paypal at checkout?
No because you need to go through PayPal cash back page to open Samsung.com to get 5% back.

I did it because i ordered the wrong color earbuds, and choose "I change my mind" or something as a reason, and I did not get any codes like I did previously. Just straight up cancelled.

You might once its delivered and you try sending it back. But that didn't work for me a couple of years ago. YMMV.
