I always size up on this as it will shrink after 2-3 washes.

The problem is there is so much discrepancy as to what size would fit. I think the price is good, but if I have to pay $5 for return shipping because it doesn't fit, it is not a deal.
So the next best option is order 2 sizes and return one - which would make it $27 ($22+$5 return fee) for one fleece.

I don't know if EB size or quality has changed. 5'11" 165lbs. I have a Radiator fleece in M that I bought on clearance directly from EB just before the pandemic hit. Fits me perfectly and is quite warm and comfortable. No noticeable shrinking after several washes and is still holding up quite well.

Just personally I'm kind of not liking the synthetic feel of the outermost layer. I t kind of catches on my skin. I want to like it. But it's hanging in my closet. My go to sweaters are hoodies 100% cotton which sucks because it rules out a lot of nice clothes. I'll give it another try. Nice looking piece. Hope it works for you.

I would say it's a similar fit ( I wear XL in both). The Patagonia is slightly slimmer and has a heavier/warmer feel to it. I do like to leave my collars up on 1/4 zips and the EB collar is a bit shorter and much better IMO.
