How do you get this to work if you only keep it for 4 months?
Thought it's a 24 Month Bill credit?

"Get reimbursed over 24 months
Receive $27.09 off each bill for 24 months
The credit is tied to the person who activated the device"

Sorry for the ignorance but I'm new to Google Fi deals!

I'm seeing final price $650.

I was a Google Fi user last year for the s23 ultra deal. have not been a user recently.

I have a s23 ultra 512 gb that I think I'll sell locally for at least that much so I think my upgrade should be free. Did the same thing last year. Any discount promo codes or cash back to stack ?

think I'm gonna lock this in. beats the $400 Samsung charged me yesterday. I could care less about the $150 in accessories that were sold out. just give me a lower phone price !

Yeah, I went through this route. Samsung charges taz on the full amount, so it was $592 in CA. I was able to sell my slightly beaten up s23U for $575, making this ~150 upgrade

* Some Amex card holders have an offer for 10% cb (up to $30) for cell phone service. Worked for me last year when buying a Fi phone.
* US Bank Cash+ credit card has 5% back category for cell phone service.
* Paypal Mastercard has 3% back on anything paid with Paypal. Fi accepts Paypal.

So for S23U I used the US Bank Cash+ under than assumption but as the phone is actually shipped from Google store it was not categorized as cell phone service, instead a speciality retail store.

So as long as the checkout page lists the instant discount at $650 I'm good to go? I'm not a current fi customer.... (I stopped being a customer June or July of 2023 for the s23 ultra promotion) so I'm confused.

Never mind, the verbiage on the offer page is:

"An existing Fi customer is someone who currently has Fi service or whose last day of Fi service took place within the last 180 days."

I had my last invoice August 26th of last year; and 6 months prior to today's date of 1/19 is July 18th. Thus, I'm a "current" Google Fi customer. Thanks Google! In for one!

Thanks for that info. I used my US Cash+ card last month to buy a Metro Moto Razr + $40 Plan and got 5% for Cell phone service. Was planning to use the same card for my Fi S24 but Fi used my Paypal card instead. So I was a bit unhappy with getting only 3% instead of 5%, but now I feel better.

Link doesn't take me to the post.. just to the main post itself.

Nevermind...maybe that's the intent? I do see the terms in the 1st post. Just don't understand why the 120 days showed up yesterday in my Fi account, but it disappeared today.

Basically when you activate, it will come back. You are not off the hook for the 120 days =) I asked the same question a page back and hpham posted the link for me to and it worked

I didnt have the AMEX offer. I have the Alt Reserve which I used but it won't trigger as a proper Google Pay transaction so I wont get the 4.5(3 +1.5 redemption). I should have used my Blue Cash which I think has high cb for online retail transactions

I confirmed that I left google fi 1.5 years ago. I just signed up with the same email I used. As soon as I signed up with new esim, I got the offer right away.

Am in the market for a smaller phone, but have been sat back watching the madness that flagship prices have become over the past year or so waiting for something to give. $350 for the S24 with 256GB of storage seems good to me! Maybe I can finally upgrade from my (long-in-the-tooth, constantly-overheating, fried-battery) Pixel 3.

I'm not currently a Google Fi customer and never have been, so signed up the same day this deal was posted with a flexible plan. Could not activate via eSIM as my Pixel 3 was incompatible, so had to wait for a physical SIM. That came in the mail today - took two days since ordering. Put it in my phone and activated my plan and got a new number this afternoon.

I've been continually re-checking the Google Fi store hoping to see this discount pop up, but as of yet, no dice. Just figured I would post my experience here in case anyone is in a similar boat to me. Seems that lots of people asking in the thread here, but it seems very few are willing to gamble the $20 it takes to find out. Figure I'll take one for the team here.

I'll update this post over the next few days if things change and the deal pops up. My guess is there's still a pretty good chance the deal will pop up for me, I'm just waiting on my account information/billing information to fully propagate through Google's backend servers. Maybe I'll know by Monday.

With eSIM, did you get new number or just port in of your number ?

Is there anybody who has got promo discount by signing up the old email using eSIM but number port-in rather than new number ?

So, even with $650 you still need to pay for 4 months service at $20 min +tax&fees?

Can you downgrade to the cheapest plan once you order?
