How do you get this to work if you only keep it for 4 months?
Thought it's a 24 Month Bill credit?

"Get reimbursed over 24 months
Receive $27.09 off each bill for 24 months
The credit is tied to the person who activated the device"

Sorry for the ignorance but I'm new to Google Fi deals!

I hate the deceptive prices on Samsung site. The price they quoted is if you trade-in an expensive phone with the top trade-in value.
Samsung used to have decent trade-in values, especially with the bonuses, discounts, and various cashback.

Samsung trade-in would make sense only if the trade-in of the immediate previous generation devices was close to an even trade in.
Doesn't make sense at all to give Samsung a $700 trade-in device PLUS pay another $700 in addition.

1. Are we allowed to have two esims active at the same time ? I.e. the Google Fi and visible ?

2. is there any value to keeping the Google Fi as a backup sim if visible service is poor in a given area etc ?
The S24 supports only one eSIM (its IMEI1 is for pSIM and IMEI2 is for eSIM). I think the recent iPhone models support multiple eSIMs and no pSIM.

You can keep the Fi pSIM in place and install Visible eSIM, then use the SIM Manager function in Settings to designate the eSIM as the primary and the pSIM as secondary.

Wasnt Swappa no fee for the seller?
Ebay fees are 13%+, used to be 12%, (plus the 3.5% PayPal fee IF you use Paypal).
Swappa selling fee is 3% plus the 3.5% PayPal fee.

If there are 2 persons in the groups, is this applicable for both the members of the group (buy 2 phones with the $650 discount)?
Yes, each member of a group is entitled to one discount. See terms in screenshot below. From what I was told in the following post, the group owner orders the phone for each group member who wants one. https://slickdeals.net/f/17148301-samsung-galaxy-s23-128gb-299-for-google-fi-new-and-exisitng-customers-256gb-359-99?p=168379252#post168379252

Nope. Seller pays 3% and buyer pays 3%. Swappa calculations are convolutated and the seller gets shafted. Let's say you want to sell a phone for $500 and the buyer's location charges 10% sales tax:
- The phone will be listed for $515 ($500 + 3% buyer's fee).
- Buyer pays $515 + $51.50 sales tax = $566.50.
- After the sales, Swappa sends your payment by Paypal. You'll receive $500 - $15 seller fee - Paypal 3.x% on $566.50 (that's a crock of crap, why do I have to pay for Paypal fee on Swappa's commission and sales tax?). You'll also have pay for Shipping + required shipping insurance.
The screenshot below shows the Swappa calculation for the S23 256GB that I sold last month for $529. The buyer paid a total of $577 with sales tax. I received $492 from Paypal, and also had to pay $22 for shipping + shipping insurance. Netted $470.

When you startup the S24, it'll prompt you to transfer the eSim over to the new phone to activate it. After its set up, you can insert your Pixel pSim you normally use. Under Settings->Connections->Sim Manager, you can set your primary sim to either the eSim or pSim. You can also turn either one on/off or remove it altogether. I plan to use my ATT pSim as primary, then keep the Fi eSim as secondary for the next 120 days. Data switching from primary->secondary Sim is off by default, so you don't have to worry about using the Fi's data.
So if I activate esim on my phone today, does the 120 day period start counting or does it only start counting when esim is transferred onto s24?

The 120 days start when you activate the s24, but billing starts today. So you actually pay for ~130 days

Typically, billing starts 2 days after activation so you get two free days. For activation that starts in July or Oct, you can finish the required 120 days in 4 billing cycles with some days to spare. Fi billing cycles start on the same day of the month in subsequent months (example: Oct 4, Nov 4, Dec 4, Jan 4). With Oct, Dec, Jan having 31 days each, you gain a few more days. Example: activation on Oct 2nd, billing starts on Oct 4, and the 121st day is Jan 31. You'll complete the promotion before the 5th billing period starts on Feb 4.

Exception: if you activate during the last 3 calendar days of each month, billing will start about 3-5 days later.

Switching to Unlimited Plus show the discount from $250 to $650. I placed an order for both S24 Ultra and Regular S24 for wife. I will also switch to Flexible next billing cycle. Everything went smoothly. I will sell my current phones to BuyBack Surgeon. Worked out much better than any other deals!

S24 Ultra - 512GB = $650 plus tax - $100 (private sell Pixel 6 128GB) = $550
S24 Regular - 256GB = $350 plus tax - $260 (private sell S22 128GB) = $90

Love this deal!

I'd like to use my visible plus esim account for data, voice and text. Maybe I should just sock drawer the Google Fi psim like I did for the s23 ultra deal last year.

You can have multiple eSIMs but only one can be active at a time.

Always arrange for the meet-up at the lobby of your nearest bank, since there are countless cameras there and usually a security guard, or in front of your nearest police station/precinct, or another similarly safe location. The mall doesn't count!
Chances are a bad actor will not show up there.
Never meet at your home/job/car drive-up/street, or other unsafe locations.

Swappa and eBay are risky too, and their fee is 12% plus the shipping fees.

Yep. Police station has safe trading zone but I still feel unsafe doing it in a parking lot

Not all of those eSIMs can be installed in the S24 at the same time, right? Because it has only one IMEI2 to be used with ONE eSIM.

WTF needs 1TB on a phone? 512gb is plenty (unless it was the old Gear VR compatible phones and you were storing lots of VR porn but those had microsd slots anyhow, not that I know first hand) I priced out comparing apples to apples for Plus and not having to give up my phone that I can easily sell for a few hundred and got a significantly cheaper price on Fi. Of course there is the cost of the 120 days service but I have usleess credits for most of that .

Oh , and you can easily net $400 for a Note 20 Ultra in fair condition on Swappa so your price is $600 + $400 = $1000
