I do not recommend Spectrum Mobile. They are an MVNO on Verizon towers and when the network is congested, you have little to no connection because your priority is so low. There is also no upgrade option for a prioritized connection. I dropped them after 1 month.
I test with the following tiv samsung phones:

A14 $714
A54 $770
S23fe $880
S23+ $994
Trade in my Google Pixel 6A for $757 that I originally got from metro for $50 years ago. Makes this a true slickdeal 🫡

Anyone tried in store? How does it work in store trade-in for pre orders? Someone else already asked same question in previous pages, but I don't see any response to that question.

Does anyone know if this limited to one deal per account? My sister has spectrum mobile service already and she wants to upgrade her s21+ to the s24+ and do this deal, but I was wondering if I would be able to take advantage of the deal by adding a line to her account to get the s24 ultra with a trade in and then I'd cancel my line after 2 months leaving hers as is.

See if they still offer the BOGO for $30 deal, and trade in two old phones for two new ones. Pay 2 months $60 and have them unlock then call back later and cancel
I'm trying to get this, but can only pre-order one phone per transaction. Will have to see how I can get the $15 per phone with 2 phones without having to pay extra activation fees or having them set up as separate phone lines without this promotion since one can only buy the phones separately...

I remember Spectrum were charging tax after trade in discount on Pixel 7 Pro but they are charging tax before trade in discount on S24 series in CA.
Pixel pro was 600 off + 100 bonus on trade in, so the price was lower before trade in credit, thus tax was less. This is only trade in bonus.

does anyone see anything wrong with this setup?? the numbers check out right??

Trade in: Iphone 6 Plus = $705
Buy: Galaxy 24 Ultra = $1300
Sign up for new Spectrum Internet:
Spectrum Internet Ultra: $45 - $5 (autopay discount) + $30 (one time service activation fee) + $2 (tax) = $72

$40 * 2 = $80 (second and third months)

$72 (first month) + $80 (second and third months) = $152

$1300 - $705 = $595 + $152 = $747 is this the total cost to get the new galaxy 24 ultra????

I agree. I did a Spectrum deal on the S23 and I would get frequent cutouts in voice, when when I'm on volte. If you text or use data, it works great. But for general talk, it's not good

Trading in a Tracfone A03S for S24, $799-$705 trade in credit. I remember paying $30 for the Tracfone A03S from Amazon during Christmas. The net cost for S23 will about $130ish. Very good deal.

Be aware!! I've purchased 5 phones from Spectrum including Galaxy Z fold 5, S 23, and S 23 Ultra when they were on sale.
I've unlocked 3 phones after 60 days' passed. However, my Z fold 5 and S23 Ultra are still locked to Spectrum. It's been over 4 months and tried to unlock them when 60days' reached. Spectrum's already provided the unlock code and the unfreeze code. But I never get to input those numbers since the phone's kept on showing it is carrier locked. I've spent well over 30 hours of talking time over the phone, visited the corporate office and gone thru more than 20 spectrums reps from tier 3,4 and 5 level. None of them knows how to unlock. One thing I know now is that when you try to unlock the phone, the spectrum rep who's unlocking the phone should see the phone you are trying to unlock should be visible on their end. If you just swap your sim and even if you see the phone on your spectrum online account, The spectrum side might show your previous phone and it can cause the problem. Make sure you have the spectrum sim for a while on the phone you are trying to unlock. Maybe at least couple more days.
I've had a spectrum sim in my Z Fold 5 for over a month now, but it is still showing Pixel 8 Pro which I have already unlocked. Their system is so buggy then you might not be able to unlock your phone. This only happens with Samsung phones since it requires additional unlock code input step unlike other Pixel, Apple brand phones.

I'm seriously considering getting 24U by trading in my pixel 8 pro... which I also got from spectrum.

Should I unlock it before trade in?

Add tax for your phone & you forgot to put the mobile plan rate: $20 activiation fee, $60 for the 3 months plan (60 days to unlock; sometimes 67). I feel like once you hit the $800+ mark for a new phone, is really not worth the hassle going all these hoops. Try look at the Google Fi or wait for better deal. This deal really shines with the S24 Base model.

No need, just select spectrum as carrier and trade it in.

Man, I have the same problem with flip 5. Based on previous post, seems it depends on who CS u happen to talk to. Most of them are not knowledgeable enough to solve the problem. This makes me nervous to pull the trigger on this

I remember people talking about that you have to call Spectrum to transfer your sim to the phone you like to use. Simply swap the sim doesn't work on their end.
