I do not recommend Spectrum Mobile. They are an MVNO on Verizon towers and when the network is congested, you have little to no connection because your priority is so low. There is also no upgrade option for a prioritized connection. I dropped them after 1 month.
I test with the following tiv samsung phones:

A14 $714
A54 $770
S23fe $880
S23+ $994
Trade in my Google Pixel 6A for $757 that I originally got from metro for $50 years ago. Makes this a true slickdeal 🫡

Spectrum internet is not available in my area but Xfinity is. I'm using Xfinity internet. Are they not the same company? Any chance getting this deal without having spectrum internet?

It costs a couple hundreds dollars more on Samsung.com with a educational/government discount, assuming you have Boost Mobile right now.
Is it the promotion for Boost Mobile customers only? I don't see Boost Mobile but uscellular is there at Samsung

I was entertaining the idea of trading in my 128GB Note 20 Ultra but I'm confused about a few things:
  1. Why does check out still show "Pay monthly, $39.44/mo for 36, %0 APR"?
  2. Is the $700 bonus in addition to the $800+ trade in for the Note 20 Ultra?
  3. Isn't anyone concerned with your privacy and data when trading in a phone? This is why I normally never trade in old phones. I'll either use them as temp security cameras with Alfred Camera app, or use them as basic multimedia devices.
1. The monthly amount starts assuming no trade, once trade is accepted and applied your monthly will go down by value/36 or whatever it works out to be.

2. The trade in value should be itemized if you look, it will show trade in value and $700 bonus. My S22 was $151 trade plus 700 bonus for $851 total trade credit.

The way they do it is a bit confusing, I called and talked to a sales rep on the phone who helped break down the repayment structure. Alternatively as others mentioned you can buy the phone outright now and get credit refunded once the trade goes through.

Also this doesn't require adding a new line as the original post says, you can just upgrade an existing 'upgrade eligible' line.

very greedy company, sucking money out of people !
$1500 for a phone? wow !!
a few years ago, phones were sold at 600-700 range, now its double the price.
even topline laptops arent this expensive.
Samsung is tapping on to greed and instant gratification.

There's an Amex deal that could save you guys an extra $50 if you have this offer on one of your Amex cards.

There's another offer that's for 5% off wireless up to $30 back that might stack.

Once unlocked after 60 days, will the S24+ work on T-Mobile just fine?

You're only getting $180 of value out of the S23 FE if you trade it in whereas you can probably get $300 selling it on Swappa if the phone is in great condition.
Swappa takes a commission. Then, you have to adding shipping costs. Then, add in shipping materials. Then, add in the risk of the buyer scamming you.

Not worth it to me.

Question - if I trade in as a new customer I can get $1025. Effectively making a S24 Ultra only $299. What happens if I don't like their service after a few months? Are there any issues breaking away?

Considering ditching my Samsung order for this. ATT is getting expensive.

Should hammer home that these phones will probably have AI subscriptions sometimes down the line.

Huge slippery slope we're going towards when you spend so much on a new phone for it to take away features that they're specifically marketing now. It's those BMW heated seats subscriptions all over again.

I'm sure it varies by area, but in Central New York, Spectrum Mobile is just as fast as Verizon. I switched from Verizon to Spectrum and never noticed a difference. Out in the country both drop, but I can't tell which drops more, b/c I'm never out there that much.
